Questions About Our Cheese
Yes, Treeline Cheese really is cheese!
We start with sustainably sourced Brazilian cashew nuts, grind them, and then culture them with a vegan probiotic culture called Lactobacillus Acidophilus. From there we add our select herbs and spices for specific flavors. They contain no dairy milk or animal by-products, so it’s cheese that is both good for you and for the planet!
We believe that the use of animals in the production of dairy products is harsh and unsustainable. There is a better way and that way is plant-based. We’re proud to say our cheeses are completely free from animal products and always will be.
All of the cultures used in our products are vegan, kosher and non-GMO.
Yes! All of our products are certified kosher parve by KOF-K.
Yes! All of our products are Non-GMO Project Verified.
Yes! No gluten is processed or used in our facility.
All of our products are made from raw cashews and are not cross-contaminated with peanuts in sourcing or production at any time.
If there is a specific concern on an allergen or sensitivity, please check our Explore Products page prior to purchase to ensure the product is a good fit for you!

Yes! Our cheeses contain no milk and therefore no lactose.
Our French-Style and Aged Artisanal cheese softens when heated and browns when grilled. It can also be fried. Our slices and shreds melt just like dairy!
Any cheeses ordered online will arrive with approximately 3 weeks of shelf life, the same as you may find at your local grocer, and should be consumed within 1-2 weeks (depending on the item) of opening or prior to the sell-by date, whichever comes first.
Since our cheeses are perishable and made without preservatives, they need to be stored in the refrigerator to ensure freshness.
Our cheeses can be frozen for short periods of time, however their texture will be adversely affected the longer they are frozen. They must be consumed within a few days of defrosting. We do not recommend freezing our slices or shreds.
